Magister Curia is a platform for policy and social analysis and critique, for innovative ideas, refinement and enhancement. It sets a benchmark in global innovative ideas by engaging with groundbreaking policy and social issues in the Humanities and Social Sciences. It contributes to intellectual discussions at the highest level, fostering a space where leading scholars, professionals and thought leaders critically engage with influential and innovative ideas that shape contemporary and historical discourse.

To maintain world-class standards, Magister Curia adheres to an intellectual rigour: policy and social issues are treated in a deeply analytical, evidence-based and theoretically robust way. It reviews and publishes content that is both scholarly and comprehensible to a broader intellectual and local community. Underpinning all of it is an ethical, scholarly and community integrity.

Our philosophy

Mainstream policy and social processes and practices assume a linear model with some known finality to their progression toward a settled point. Drawing on numerous resurgences in policy and social issues in pre- and post-intervention settings, we are drawn instead into how these processes and practices are actually managed and governed.

Our purpose

Through intellectual, scholarly and evidence-based critique, analysis and reconstruction, Magister Curia critically engages policies and social issues. Its goal is to contribute to consolidating or reconstructing policies and social issues for sustainable community transformation and development.

Honorary Chair's note

A note on standards

“Magister Curia is a global-standard company with world-class experts who are not only knowledgeable and skilled but scholarly and academic as well — engaging on both practical and theoretical scales, and offering multiple considered pathways into its areas of expertise.

Drawing from the Critical Theory tradition, it seeks to offer insight, and to disrupt and critique mainstream thinking, practices and processes, with state-of-the-art knowledge and application.

This makes us constantly re-read, re-think, re-imagine and re-focus on what lies underneath, as a matter of grounding in the ordinary everyday, to identify the right question and the right problem.”
