Who we are

Magister Curia Consulting Group ("Magister Curia", "we", "us") is based at 12 Eden Rd, Laroo, Gulu City, Uganda. This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and what rights you have over it.

What we collect

  • Contact and enquiry data — name, email, phone, and the content of your message, when you use the contact form.
  • Newsletter subscription data — email, optional name, and the timestamp of your consent, when you subscribe to Nuntii a Magister.
  • Programme application data — name, contact details, your statement, and any CV/résumé file you upload.
  • Technical data — the minimum needed to operate the site securely (e.g. IP address on form submission, for abuse prevention). We do not run non-essential tracking cookies or third-party advertising trackers.

Why we collect it

To respond to enquiries, route them to the correct department or Centre, process programme applications, send the newsletter to confirmed subscribers, and keep the site secure and free of abuse.

Consent

Newsletter sign-up uses double opt-in: we only add you to the list once you click the confirmation link we email you. The consent checkbox is never pre-ticked. You may withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

Your rights

Under Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019 and its 2021 Regulations, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may object to or restrict our processing of it. Where you are in the EU or UK, we aim to meet GDPR-equivalent standards for these rights.

Portraits & photography

We only publish portraits and community photographs where consent has been recorded and is tracked against the image in our media library.
